Finally I am getting to post these pics! Ellie and I went to our relatives the Mendheims a few weeks ago and their Golden Doodle (half golden retriever half poodle) had just given birth to eight adorable puppies! We had a blast.
Aunt Anne, Uncle Eric, and Sam with the pups!
The whole Mendheim family with their newest additions.
This is Bree (tan collar)--she looked soooo cute!
Shorty playing with his momma.
Shorty was my favorite (blue collar)
Taking a nap against my leg!
My cousin Danielle surrounded by puppies.
Sleep.
Ellie and I.
Craziness.
Saphira (red collar)--the most feisty puppy of them all!
Saphira and I.
Sam and Aravis (purple collar).
One of the pups rudely biting Mia (pink collar) in a most uncomfortable place :)
Lost his balance!
Sweet Prince Caspian (green speckled collar)
Playing.
Mad!
Kiss *cute*
Shorty and I.
We had many a fun round of nerts and one time I got out my camera! Here Uncle Eric attempts to teach Sam the game (that's Joe in the background).
I think Sam was a little confused at the time, but he went on to become a very good player.
My lovely hand (actually, for nerts, it's horrible).
Dear Joe and I.
Jessie!
So I set the camera to time down to ten seconds and told the girls to smile and I'd hurry and join them--and they tickle-ambushed me! So that was the picture.
There, that's what the above pic SHOULD have been *laugh*
At a really good pizza restaurant.
Dear Jack (black collar)
Nike (green collar)
Got an itch!
Sierra--the good mother.
Caught!
We played some awesome games of airsoft. Here Joe looks rather formidable with his new machine gun.
Bring it!
Fell the chill! *wink*
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed these! I love puppies :)

Hi, I found your blog post through a search for “Nerts”. It is cool to see others that know about the game. I hope you don’t mind but I wanted to let you know about playnertz.com, the site for the National Nertz Association. There is a bunch of interesting Nertz information there and you can also find out how to play Nertz online there. I hope you will check it out. Feel free to join and also let your friends and family know. Thanks
