Our New House (exterior) -posted by katie

I took these about a month ago right after it snowed!

The prospect from the front door.
Another front door shot.

We have a lovely back porch.
The yard is rather small, but at least have plenty of trees!

God bless.

Our New Home Interior -posted by katie

These pictures are when we were still unpacking, but thought you all might like a look at our house! It's southeast about 30 minutes from where we used to live in Denver. The city is called Centennial (pretty!).

The upstairs hall.
The twins' room.
Robert's room.
Elizabeth and I's room.
Our view! (get a load of that snow)
down the stairs into the living room.

the dining room adjoins the living room
the family room adjoins the..
kitchen.
into the basement.

Yeah, it was pretty much a mess back then. But it looks way different now! I will post more pics later... God bless!

After Exactly One Year... -posted by katie

We moved into Mike Krotz's house on November 22nd and guess what day we moved out, November 22nd! Crazy, eh? This was actually November 21st (the night before) and a whole bunch of our awesome friends came to help out. Thanks, Uncle Mike, for being so generous to let a family of seven live with you for so long!

Our home for a short while.
The actual and real truck!
The door leading down to the basement (that is Elizabeth and I's bedroom down there).
Mary on the ramp.
Mary still on the ramp and the beginnings of a packed truck.
Nic (yellow shirt) and Dad.
And it's full! Good job, guys!
Some last minute packing of paperwork by yours truly.
Then it was time for dinner! Yummy chili. L-R: Felecia, Hannah, Trish, Chavvah.
Nic and Mary deep in conversation.
Something amusing.
We tried to tell Jake that it was unhealthy to drink out of the spray bottle, but he insisted. *wink*
Fia getting FOOD!
Chat.
A place of memories...
The Waynes brought Challah bread since it was the night of Shabat (sp?) for them (being Messianic Jews). It was pretty neat to have a sort of communion with all these good friends...
Ben and Austin (left) take some from Mr. Wayne (right). The little fellows loved it :)
Mrs. Wayne passing it 'round.

Then we prayed and partook of the challah bread. It was awesome, thanks Waynes!
After that sober time, my dad obviously thought everyone needed some lightening up *laugh* Yes, this is blackmail.
Mr. Wayne only encouraged him.
Buds.

Thanks everyone who helped us move! You were such a blessing... Pics of the new house coming soon! So stay tuned :)

Felecia's Sweet Sixteen -posted by katie

We had the distinct honor to celebrate our dear friend, Felecia's, 16th Birthday party on November! She had a high tea and invited several of her lady friends. Her brothers and dad were servers :)

The Cochran girls with some other guests. L-R: me, Mary, Ellie, two sisters, and Patricia.
What a spread! The girls outdid themselves cooking for this event.
Mary's art ;)
More, um, food.
Patricia took this of me when I was totally unaware.
A table.
Centerpiece.
Nic was one of our fine servers.
Valerie (far right and Felecia's sister) with another woman and Mom.
My table :)
Val and I had matching earrings!
We were very pleased to see our friend Mary-Beth Austin there!
Smiles :)
Mary and Ellie.
Another table! What a wonderful setting job...

Jake, our other fine server. Poor lads, it must have been difficult indeed to serve all that food without getting to take a bite (although I'm sure they did plenty of that in the back!).
Friends.
Lovely.
Yeah, more food.
Felecia being blessed by her Papa (who was also a server).
Mary and Patricia with the BD girl.
Fia with one of her "aunts."
Felecia and I.
More friends!
Elizabeth with some of her girlfriends.
Mrs. Wayne talking to Brooke.

Val blessing her sister.

*tear*

Near the end, the guys did this hilarious song. They sang the song "My Girl" but put Felecia's name in it! Totally a riot...
The dudes prepare.
Let the dancing begin!
They actually harmonized very nicely.
"My girl, Felecia!"

Felecia LOVED it.

Happy Birthday again, dear. May you have many more!
