The Road Trip from Jefferson to Denver--Posted by Katie

Well, it's happened! We have now officially moved to Denver, Colorado. The road trip took two days and these are all the pictures we took on the way. If I do say so myself, we got some really pretty ones--fit for postcards :) We left on November 21st and got into Denver November 22nd. So enjoy, and feel free to copy the pictures to use on your desktop.
And our drive begins! These are the smoky mountains...

Mary and Patricia begin to wake up :)
Here's what I was doing until I thought of taking pictures...
We ran into some rain.

Through the window as it rains.
After lunch Robert wanted to take a picture of the cookie box because he like "naturally yummy" (?)

I like mirror pictures.

Another rainy window.
The rain is coming...

Isn't that mountain HUGE! And, believe it or not, the Rockies look even bigger!

Kentucky! This was probably the prettiest state we drove through... So green and lush.

And we enter Kansas! The land that tilts--no no, that was just me trying to be artistic :)

On and on...

Some frozen leaves we saw at a rest stop.

I took this one and doesn't it look good enough for a postcard? I'm modest, I know....

That was a neat little town...

A Christian sign that I snapped a picture of as it grew dark.

A beautiful, huge church out in the middle of nowhere--it's worth a picture :)
This looks ominous...
When we were just about out of Kansas we ran into a glorious sunset... Ellie took these pictures.

God really knew what he was doing when he made the sun (and everything else too, it's just that the sun is so beautiful).
