FINALLY I am posting our super fourth of July! Sorry folks :) No excuses except, maybe, just plain old life...? Is that allowed? *wink* Well, to be quite honest, I am trying to catch up before Monday because Monday is when we leave for family camp, and the very day after we get back from family camp in NM, we are off to FL for the BEACH until Sep 9! The only dark clouds I see ahead are the plane flights (there and back--hate flying) but I'll get over it. I am hoping I will catch up, but I see honestly little hope. I work tomorrow, Saturday is super busy with a party and getting ready to go, and so is Sunday. I still have a backpacking adventure to post, and I will also have the party (the twins' womanhood party on Saturday). Anyway, never mind my rambling. Enjoy what you can get!
Patricia's fine art.
Blue skies.
The childrens! Robert, Mary, Patricia, yours truly, Ellie.
Pure white.
Good ol' Trish!
Standing on a rock-yeah it's about as fun as it looks.
While orange is not my favorite color, these are pretty!
Mama using the rock as a resting place.
The lovebirds.
Optomistically we set forth (sorry, should have put this one first).
The incredible Rob.
I hope there aren't any snakes down there, Dad! (we did say that-several times.)
One of the many pretty weeds.
Mom and I. I think I had a crick in my neck, or SOMETHING. Not sure :)
Sweet!
Dandelions! Why do I still get a kick out of blowing them?
Robert, of course, caught a crawdad in the local creek.
Check out those pinchers!
What a cutie.
This is a gorgeous picture, Trish. This one's a winner.
The last half of our hike was spent above emerald green fields. Heaven on earth... (actually, the beach is heaven on earth--but this was close.)
I was quite proud of myself for getting this artistic silhouette shot of the bird!
Some fine houses.
More green...
"Should we go on, or take a rest...?"
Patricia got some good shots of this little fella on the trail. He was actually quite unafraid of us!
And quite a cheeky chipmunk as well! Get a load of that tail!
So small...
A flower among thorns...
Well that's all! It was a great way to spend the fourth of July. Praise God for his awesome works.
