My grandparents on my mom's side took us out, including my grandmother on my dad's side, for Mother's Day to Olive Garden! My cousin Cora also joined us...

When we dropped Grandmother back at her lovely facility, Grandma took some pictures of us. This was supposed to be a happy one (which it is).
This was supposed to be a serious one. Some people apparently find that impossible... :)

And then this handsome gentleman actually took my hand! Oh, it was my Grandpa :)

It was a splendid Mother's Day. I did miss my mom, but we got to be with my mom and dad's moms! Which was kind of cool...

FL Trip Post 2: New Smyrna Beach -posted by katie

The beach! My second favorite thing about FL (after the people of course!). It was so lovely to just be there and enjoy it. The water was pretty cold--until I ran two miles, then it felt great!

FL Trip Post 1: Arrival -posted by katie

Yes, I am dreadfully behind. Ha ha, what a surprise, right? Elizabeth and I have been in FL since May 4th and I am just now getting pics on the blog. Now that we are about to go home... (leaving on May 29th).

Anyhow, this is when Ellie and I arrived at the airport. Had no idea my Grandma was going to be standing inside this store right past security, so as you can see we are a little surprised!

At least, I am.

Then she wanted some candid shots of us.

Out by the pick up spot, Gramps took our picture.
Then Grandma took our picture :)

Let me just say that I will NOT miss the humidity here. I felt it like a slap in the face the moment I stepped off the plane.
